Taleweaving Tarot

I’ve just had a lovely example of Taleweaving with the tarot.

It all came about through me procrastinating over something I was afraid would go horribly wrong. I got in a right old tizz-wozz as Mum used to say, so I gave myself a reading with the Enchanted Forest pack.

 This is what I got …

• 9 of Spells
• The Folly
• 8 of Challenges
• Ace of Challenges
• The Enchanter

I read it as follows …

• I’ve got everything I need – but I don’t know it in my bones!
• I need the Folly Tower of my lack of self-belief to fall down.
• And to stop threshing about in the bramble and nettle patch I believe myself stuck in.
• Then the white Raven can come to offer me the Silver Arrow of Truth – the silver bullet that can smash my illusions. I need to shoot to kill, just the once, to bump off my own idiocy and that will knock down the folly tower of my lack of self-belief.
• And then, at last, I can meet and embody the Enchanter.

Well I fixed my personal procrastination problem and it turned out to be a figment of my imagination, I made a real mountain out of a molehill – no surprises there then LOL 

And then I got the Bonus Bit!

As well as fixing my procrastination the reading also gave me Jehanne’s next adventure in a nutshell, what’s behind the plot structure and driving the story. Jehanne’s the protagonist in Dancing with a Daemon – psst trigger warning, just so’s you know! There’s some real scary, difficult bits in her story.

Jehanne’s next adventure – it follows right on from Dancing with a Daemon – is about her own lack of self-belief, her stopping threshing around in bramble patches and knocking down her folly tower of misconceptions. Then she has to accept the White Raven’s silver arrow and …

Oooops! No spoilers here LOL. You’ll have to wait to find out what happens 😊

Extra Teaser – there is a Book 3 in her series, so Jehanne does come through, but how?
